Movie sequel Happy Gilmore 2 overlooks a key original character's appearance, leaving fans puzzled, given the numerous guest appearances in the film.

In the much-anticipated sequel to the classic comedy "Happy Gilmore", John Daly and Benito "Bad Bunny" Ocasio take centre stage. While Daly reprises his iconic role as the golf-playing, hockey-swinging titular character, Ocasio delivers a delightfully hilarious performance as Oscar in the film.

However, there seems to be some confusion regarding the appearance of Allen Covert, who played Otto, Happy Gilmore's homeless caddie, in the original movie. Contrary to some reports suggesting a new caddie character, official cast lists and promotional materials confirm Covert's return, albeit with a smaller focus in the sequel.

Despite not being credited for his role, IMDb lists Covert as making an uncredited appearance as Otto in "Happy Gilmore 2". The reason for this lack of credit remains unclear. It is speculated that Covert's role in the sequel might be minimal, which could explain why he was not given a credit.

Adam Sandler, as always, reprises his role as Happy Gilmore in the sequel, joined by a host of familiar faces from his filmography, including Post Malone and several comedy actors. Benito "Bad Bunny" Ocasio, who made a promising debut as an SNL host and musical guest in Season 49, plays Happy's new caddy in the film.

The exact nature of Allen Covert's relationship with Adam Sandler is not known, but it is clear that Covert has been a staple of Sandler's filmography since 1989's "Going Overboard". Despite the lack of clarity surrounding Covert's role in "Happy Gilmore 2", fans can catch the movie on Netflix, available for streaming as part of the ad-supported plan, which costs $10 less than the standard plan.

Despite some fans expressing dissatisfaction with a shocking character death in the movie, "Happy Gilmore 2" has been met with positive reviews, with Corey Chichizola of CinemaBlend giving it a golden review. Overall, the sequel promises a fun-filled, laugh-out-loud experience for fans of the original.

With the sequel's inclusion on Netflix's ad-supported plan, fans can enjoy a daily blend of movies-and-tv entertainment, including the new "Happy Gilmore 2" for $10 less than the standard plan. In light of the sequel's release, interviews featuring cast members like John Daly and Benito "Bad Bunny" Ocasio are anticipated, providing entertainment news enthusiasts with intriguing insights into the production process.
