Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, the latest action adventure from Crunchyroll, is dominating the box office this week. After shattering the record for an anime movie's box office opening last week, the film is on track to make $21 million to $25 million during its second weekend. With a staggering $70 million domestically in its opening, Sony's Demon Slayer has become the current box office hit.

However, it's not all smooth sailing for Demon Slayer as it faces stiff competition from two new releases. Universal's Him, starring Marlon Wayans, is projected to make $15 million to $18 million in its first weekend at the box office. The film, with a budget of $27 million, sees Tyriq Withers playing an up-and-coming quarterback.

Sony's A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, a romantic fantasy starring Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell, is also vying for second place. The film, directed by Kogonada, is projected to make between $8 million and $10 million this weekend. The star-studded cast includes Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Kevin Kline, Lily Rabe, Jodie Turner-Smith, Billy Magnussen, and others.

Justin Tipping directs Him, produced by Jordan Peele. The film had a strong start with $2 million in Thursday previews, while A Big Bold Beautiful Journey made $400,000 in its Thursday previews.

As the weekend unfolds, it remains to be seen which film will take the top spot. With Demon Slayer's initial success and the strong performances of the new releases, audiences are in for an exciting box office battle.
