Amazon MGM Studios and Amazon Prime Video are proud to announce that the extraordinary success of the "The Summer I Turned Pretty" series has led to the development of a feature-length film. This film will serve as the conclusion to the series's story and provide an unforgettable next chapter for fans.
In a joint statement, Courtenay Valenti and Vernon Sanders, heads of film, streaming, and theatrical at Amazon MGM Studios and global head of television at Amazon Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, expressed their excitement for the upcoming project. Han hinted in the closing credits of the show that there could be a return for the characters in the future, and fans will now get to see their favorite characters come to life on the big screen.
Lauren Hubbard, a freelance writer and Town & Country contributor who covers various topics including entertainment, has been following the series closely. She has praised the series for its compelling storytelling and its ability to resonate with audiences around the world.
The television show "Belly" has concluded its third and final season on Amazon's Prime Video, leaving fans eager for more. The feature-length film is planned to be released by Amazon's Prime Video, giving fans something to look forward to.
Jenny Han expressed her gratitude to Amazon Prime Video for continuing to support the vision for the story and for making the film possible. She also thanked the fans for their love and support, and promised that the film will do justice to "Belly's journey."
Amazon MGM Studios and Amazon Prime Video will partner again with Jenny Han to bring fans an unforgettable next chapter in the "The Summer I Turned Pretty" series.
