The tradition of "Trooping the Colour" dates back to the 18th century, with a regiment of the British Army tasked each year to present the Queen's Colour.

A Symbolic Celebration

Despite his actual birthday being in November, the King celebrates a symbolic birthday each June as part of the British tradition. The parade culminates with a spectacular flypast of military aircraft over Buckingham Palace, providing a fitting ending to this grand occasion, marking the King's third such celebration since his coronation.
