Martin Hornegger, a passionate mountaineer and Austrian entrepreneur, met his untimely demise while on an adventure in the Himalayas. This beloved figure had even stepped down from his family business to immerse himself fully in his cherished passion.

Sadly, Hornegger's life took a heartbreaking turn during a mountain tour in Nepal, where he tragically fell to his death while making his descent from the towering Ama Dablam peak, standing 6,812 meters high. Reports surfaced on Saturday morning of his disappearance, with the discovery of his body at the base of the peak by rescue teams later that day.

Hornegger embarked on this daunting expedition accompanied by his daughter and her companion. As the shareholder and veteran CEO of Martini Sportswear, he leaves behind a family of four, with two grown children now carrying on without him.
