In the heat of the recent conflict, Israel's top spy agency, Mossad, played a crucial role, often operating behind enemy lines. Mossad chief, David Barnea, recently confirmed that the agency will continue to be active in Iran, regardless of the ongoing waves of arrests and executions of alleged spies.

Barnea, in a rare video address to fellow Mossad agents, asserted, "We're not going anywhere. We'll be right here, just as we have been all along." He emphasized that Mossad will continue to closely monitor "all projects in Iran that we know intimately."

Israel has managed to achieve remarkable feats during the conflict. Barnea expressed gratitude towards their partner, the CIA, for their joint operations, stating, "We couldn't have done it without them."

The Mossad's contribution to the attacks included potentially placing and operating precision weapons and drones deep within Iran to cause havoc on air defense systems and rocket silos. Nevertheless, Iranian authorities executed three men accused of spying for Israel, starting a wave of arrests of alleged Mossad spies.

The Iranian judiciary announced that they will expedite trials of those accused of supporting Israel, intensifying the tension. Over the weekend, the US intervened alongside Israel in the conflict, bombing Iranian nuclear facilities. US President Donald Trump then announced a ceasefire between the warring parties.

Mossad's operations, in conjunction with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), and the CIA, are reminiscent of Operation Rising Lion, a 12-day campaign targeting Iran's nuclear facilities, ballistic missile launchers, air defenses, and key military leadership. The US provided massive bunker-busting bombs to attack the underground Fordow nuclear enrichment facility.

In these critical operations, Mossad agents were instrumental, helping to neutralize missile launchers and air defenses, allowing for effective attacks. The CIA provided vital support, sharing intelligence and collaborating for the success of the campaign.

Mossad's ongoing efforts in Iran point towards the continued tension between Iran and Israel, despite the announced ceasefire. Barnea's statement about the 50 hostages held in the Gaza Strip, including 30 bodies and 20 living captives, emphasizes Israel's determination to bring them home, making it their moral duty.
