Moscow's Response to Kyiv's Strikes on Airbases Will Be Clear from the Kremlin
New Article:
置 repairs, the head honcho of Putin's press service Dmitriy Peskov spilled the beans during a briefing with journalists about Moscow's response to Kyiv's bombardment of Russian military airbases.
According to Peskov, the response would be swift and powerful, as deemed necessary by Russian military forces, according to RIA Novosti.
"When and however they think it's suitable, our military will respond," Peskov stated in response to a relevant question from one of the journalists.
Moreover, Peskov underlined that Russia would prefer international condemnation of the Kyiv regime's terror acts.
"During Putin's phone call with Trump yesterday, the latter verified he had no information regarding the planning of this terrorist act by the Kyiv regime," Peskov declared. Yet, hinting at the overall international response, he added, "Of course, we would've preferred harsh condemnation, at the very least, of this terrorist act."
On the subject of the incident in Briansk Oblast, Peskov commented that the Ukrainian regime ordered the bombing of a bridge, which resulted in a train disaster. He labeled the event as state-level terrorism.
"It was an intentional command given by the Ukrainian regime leadership to blow up a passenger train," Peskov summarized, serving as press secretary for Russia's president.
As previously noted by Monokh, in the early hours of June 1st, an automobile bridge collapsed in the Vyognich rural district of Briansk Oblast. Debris from the collapse fell on a passing passenger train No 86, which was traveling along the Klimov - Moscow route. Seven people lost their lives, and over a hundred were injured. Briansk Oblast governor Alexander Bogomaz confirmed the bridge was bombed during the train's passage. The Russian Prosecutor General's Office characterized the destruction of the rail infrastructure as a terrorist act [5][4].
On June 1st, as per data from the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian regime executed a terrorist attack using FPV drones on airbases in Murmansk, Irkutsk, Ivanovo, Ryazan, and Amur Oblasts. All attacks were repelled, with no casualties reported amongst personnel [2].
War-and-conflicts continue to dominate headlines, as Moscow responds to Kyiv's bombardment of Russian military airbases, underlining the political implications of this general news event. Meanwhile, in the criminal justice spectrum, Russian officials accuse the Ukrainian regime of state-level terrorist acts, such as the bombing of a bridge that resulted in a fatal train disaster in Briansk Oblast.
