Moscow's football club "Torpedo" has agreed to the transfer of the Bulgarian central defender.
Moscow FC Torpedo is bolstering its team with the signing of two promising players, Simeon Petrov and Leo Goglichidze, as confirmed by the club's recent announcements.
Bulgarian defender Simeon Petrov, aged 25, is set to join Torpedo after agreeing terms for his transfer. Born in France, Petrov holds dual citizenship and has represented Bulgaria at the international level, earning 12 caps to date. His most recent club appearances were with Hungarian side Fehervar and Polish team Slenzk during the last season.
Petrov's arrival at Torpedo is expected to significantly strengthen the club's defensive line. Notably, he graduated from the Limoges academy and was bought by a Hungarian club this summer for 150,000 euros.
Meanwhile, negotiations with Leo Goglichidze, a promising player currently with Grozny's Akhmat, are scheduled to be completed by the end of July. The compensation fee for Goglichidze will be 7 million rubles if the negotiations are successful.
Goglichidze spent last season with Akhmat and is now being actively courted by Torpedo. The exact terms of his potential move to the club have not been disclosed.
The transfers of Simeon Petrov and Leo Goglichidze are separate transactions for Torpedo Moscow, with the club aiming to strengthen its team through strategic acquisitions.
Petrov's addition to the team follows a busy transfer window for Torpedo, which has seen the club actively seeking to improve its squad ahead of the new season. With these new signings, Torpedo fans can look forward to a more formidable and competitive team.
Sports enthusiasts in Europe will be eager to follow the progress of Simeon Petrov in the upcoming seasons, as the Bulgarian defender joins Torpedo's squad, strengthening the club's defense. Meanwhile, negotiations are underway for the acquisition of Leo Goglichidze, a promising player from Grozny's Akhmat, with his potential move to Torpedo set to boost the team's performance in the European leagues.
