Moscow Film Fest Crowns 'Two in One Life' With Grand Prix

The 14th Moscow International Film Festival concluded with 'Two in One Life, Not Counting the Dog' scooping the Grand Prix. Directed by Andrei Zaitsev, the film also won Best Acting Duo for Alexander Adabashyan and Svetlana Kryuchkova. The festival, held amidst celebrations for the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, showcased Russian and international movies.

The festival's president, Yevgeny Gerasimov, presented the special prize to Branislav Petković, director of the winning film. Petković's work was praised for its unique storytelling and emotional depth. The Best Actress award went to Polina Tsygankova for her role in 'Clean Sheet', a movie that explores themes of resilience and hope.

In addition to competitive screenings, the festival offered non-competitive showings, a roundtable discussion, and masterclasses led by prominent Russian filmmakers. These events aimed to foster viewer culture and promote moral and spiritual values through cinema. The film 'Diodora. Against the Current' by Sandal Baiyev received a special prize, further enriching the festival's diverse program.

The 14th Moscow International Film Festival successfully celebrated the art of filmmaking, with 'Two in One Life, Not Counting the Dog' emerging as the standout production. The festival's blend of competitive and non-competitive events, along with its commitment to promoting moral values, made it a significant cultural event in Moscow.
