Moscow expresses readiness for a third round of dialogue with Kiev
Ready for a New Chat with Kyiv, Says Putin After Minsk Visit
Vladimir Putin, Russia's big boss, has declared his country's readiness for another go-around of discussions with Ukraine to squash the ongoing beef in Ukraine. He made this announcement during his sojourn in Minsk.
Putin pointed out that the peace blueprints hatched by Moscow and Kyiv are poles apart, but whoa, ain't that surprising, right? According to the prez, there are conditions in place to continue the talks.
"As for the results of these chats, I suppose you can see 'em for yourself. Today, I reckon, there was another swap. Yesterday or today, I figure," Putin said.
"Yep, this is important stuff. The humanitarian aspect is crucial because it sets the stage for the kind of deep dive diplomats love to call substantial talks," Putin elaborated.
The Prez of Russia made it clear that the heads of the Russian and Ukrainian negotiation crews are continually in touch and chatting away.
"We agreed that after completing this phase ( pleasantries exchanged earlier in Istanbul), we'll have the third round of these talks. In general, we're up for it," Putin said.
