Moscow Braces for Early Snowfall and Freezing Temperatures
Moscow residents can expect a mix of warm and cold weather in the coming weeks, with the first snowfall expected mid-November. Meteorologist Anastasia Klyueva has been closely monitoring the changing conditions.
Until November 10, Muscovites will enjoy daytime highs reaching up to +10°C and nighttime lows around +3/+4°C, with light rain. However, a significant shift is expected after this period.
Starting November 13, Moscow will witness its initial snow cover, accumulating up to 5 centimeters by November 15-16. This early snowfall is accompanied by a sharp cold snap, with temperatures plummeting nearly to freezing. By mid-November, Moscow will experience frosty nights as low as -6°C and daytime temperatures near zero.
