Prime Minister Faces Preliminary Investigation Over Family Company
André Ventura, the leader of Chega, has commented on the ongoing preliminary investigation into the family company of the Prime Minister, Spinumviva. The investigation, centred around the businesses of Spinumviva, was opened by the Public Ministry (MP) in Montenegro following news reports about the company's real estate activities.
The controversy with Spinumviva's real estate activities was brought up by news from Correio da Manhã. Three complaints were received by the Prosecutor-General of the Republic, leading to the opening of the preliminary investigation.
During a press event, Ventura expressed a desire for a quick conclusion to the preliminary investigation. He stated that the request for additional documentation in an investigation is normal. Ventura also emphasized the importance of the country being informed about the nature of the investigation and its outcome.
