Mohamed Salah surpasses Bruno Fernandes, establishing a new milestone in the Premier League
In a historic achievement, Mohamed Salah, the 33-year-old forward for Liverpool, has won the PFA Player of the Year trophy for the third time. He becomes the first player to achieve this feat, having previously won in 2018 and 2022, and now in 2025 [1][2][3][4].
Salah's impressive performance last season, where he scored 29 goals and provided 18 assists, played a significant role in Liverpool's triumph in the Premier League. This achievement also cements his status as the most decorated player in the history of the PFA Player of the Year award [4].
In a competitive field, Salah beat the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Alexander Isak, Declan Rice, Cole Palmer, and fellow Liverpool teammate Alexis Mac Allister to claim the prestigious award.
