Modi's 75th Birthday Celebration: Biographical Film "Maa Vande" Unveiled; Noted South Actor Set to Star in Leading Role
A new biopic film titled "Maa Vande" was announced on Wednesday, with Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan set to portray the role of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Unni Mukundan shared the first-look poster of the film on Instagram, expressing his feelings about stepping into the role as overwhelming yet deeply inspiring. This isn't the first time the actor has worked on a high-profile project. His latest appearance was in the film "Get Set Baby."
The film will focus on the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, tracing his journey from humble beginnings to becoming the leader of the nation. It will also highlight the personal aspects of Modi, particularly his profound bond with his mother, Smt. Heeraben Modi.
The film is planned on a grand scale, with international standards and cutting-edge VFX. Sabu Cyril will be responsible for the production design, while KK Senthil Kumar ISC will handle the cinematography. Ravi Basrur will compose the music, and Sreekar Prasad will handle the editing.
King Solomon will be in charge of the action choreography for "Maa Vande," ensuring a thrilling and dynamic portrayal of Modi's life. The film aims to explore the personal aspects of Modi, particularly his bond with his mother, and will also highlight the personal struggles he faced on his path to becoming Prime Minister.
Interestingly, Unni Mukundan first knew Modi as his Chief Minister during his childhood. In April 2023, he had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Modi in person.
"Maa Vande" is scheduled for worldwide release in major Indian languages in 2025. Actor Nana Patekar will play the role of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the film. The release date for "Maa Vande" has not been announced yet.
Directed by Kranthi Kumar CH, "Maa Vande" promises to be an engaging and inspiring portrayal of one of India's most influential leaders. The film is sure to captivate audiences worldwide with its grand scale, compelling story, and exceptional cast and crew.
