Loose Cannon's Take on MLB The Show 25 Update 10

MLB The Show 25 receives Update 10, introducing City Connect uniforms and additional features.

Alright, assholes! Let's dive into the latest update for MLB The Show 25, 'cause you know, we all ain't got shit better to do. Now, if you're still grindin' balls and stealin' bases in this game (or whatever the fuck you call it in baseball), then you better take a look at Update 10.

This Motherfuckin' update dropped on May 2nd, and it's packin' a punch for everyone playin' on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and even a few bored fucks on Nintendo Switches. So, let's see what we got, shall we?

  • Up first, they added the goddamn White Sox's City Connect uniforms for the year 2025, no shit.
  • Next, they fixed a bug that was fuckin' with the frame rate whenever there was a runner on base. Good to know that they don't want to see us choke when it matters, brothers and sisters.

Gameplay Improvements:

  • They hooked up the co-op by resolving three issues where wins and ELO were awarded all weird and shit to people who were goddamn quittin'.
  • They fixed the Head-to-Head user interface so that no one's left waitin' and bitchin' for the eternity when the other one forfeits. You can now tap that screen and get the fuck outta there.
  • They tweaked the fucking GOAT difficulty to make it more realistic and less frustrating. Better PCI size and reduced penalties for low and away pitches, boys and girls!
  • They fucking squashed a Co-op mode crash, so now we can keep on chasing that sweet, sweet victory.

Diamond Dynasty:

  • DJ Khalid was airin' it out in Diamond Quest, but now they fixed that visual bug that was displayin' Stubs and XP that you couldn't actually earn. Thanks for listenin', DJ.
  • After the roster attribute update, existing marketplace buy and sell orders will be canceled and refunded if they cuhz they ain't fuckin' allowed anymore. Sounds like some housekeepin' shit, chill.

Road to the Show:

  • Now you can get game updates in real time, even in MLB games, so watch out for that in-game ticker.

Franchise:

  • They got rid of all them pesky bugs that were stallin' the progress in Franchise mode. Fuckin' grow up, game!
  • They fixed the bullshit where free agents' stats showed zeroes in the contract negotiation screen. That's one less thing to hate about the game, I suppose.
  • They dealt with that issue where players with MLB service time had the MLB Debut patch in the first game of the season. That's somethin' I coulda used back in the day.

Results from other games:

  • Apparently, they're simulating some other NBA games, so here are the goddamn results if you give a rat's ass: Warriors vs. Timberwolves, Nuggets vs. Thunder, Knicks vs. Celtics, Warriors vs. Timberwolves, and finally, the Knicks vs. Celtics again. You're welcome, you losers.

Stadium Creator:

  • They shut down some bugs in the Stadium Creator, so you can go fuck around with that shit all you want now.
  • They fixed a glitch where users weren't able to load stadiums that were created in previous MLB The Show titles. WTF, man?! I put a shitload of hard work intothat fuckin' stadium, and now you can't load it?! Fuck you, San Diego Studio!
  • Stadiums will now show the correct preview images in the Stadium Vault, so you won't be left scrapin' your brains lookin' for shit.

Storylines mode:

  • They squashed a bug where the 'Try Again' screen could show the wrong goddamn player. Thanks for cleanin' that up.

Miscellaneous:

  • They fixed a bunch of commentary bugs, so now there ain't no more unwanted noise interruptin' the beautiful symphony of baseball.

Lastly, the game updated the player models for 14 players:

  • Patrick Murphy
  • Oscar Gonzalez
  • Cole Roederer
  • Jason Alexander
  • Francisco Lindor
  • Dylan Cease
  • Jorge Lopez
  • Nathan Lukes
  • Adley Rutschman
  • Anthony Bender
  • Ke'Bryan Hayes
  • Nick Gonzaeles
  • Cade Bunnell
  • Paul Molitor

There ya have it, shitbags. That's the goddamn jam on MLB The Show 25 Update 10. Now go play, leave me the fuck alone. And if you want more news on games and MLB, hop on our website and subscribe to our goddamn newsletter if you give a rat's ass. I'm out.
