In a chaotic turn of events, an Iranian rocket attack on Israeli soil has left 23 individuals injured, with three of them fighting for their lives. The incident took place in the bustling city of Haifa.

According to Magen David Adom, a 16-year-old boy and two men are in critical condition, having been wounded by shrapnel. Another 20 people sustained light injuries. Local media outlets report that these injuries were a result of a rocket strike in Haifa.

Sadly, a 51-year-old woman experienced a heart attack during a rocket alert in northern Israel and passed away despite the valiant attempts of rescuers. Haifa's local hospital disclosed that they were attending to 19 injured individuals, among whom two were in critical condition. A Magen David Adom paramedic described the streets at the impact site as severely damaged.

Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced that a mosque in Haifa was also hit, inflicting injuries on its clerics. A video released by Saar depicts the wreckage of the building.

Possible School Building Impact?

Israel's military states that Iran sent more ballistic missiles into the air, which were successfully countered by air defense systems. Numerous areas across the country experienced rocket alerts, forcing residents to seek shelter. However, people have since been permitted to leave their shelters.

Unsubstantiated reports suggest that a school building in the heart of the country may have been targeted. No injuries have been reported as a result of this alleged strike.

Several Israeli media outlets estimate that approximately 25 rockets were fired from Iran during the attack. Iran's state radio quoted a military spokesperson as stating that "military targets" were bombarded by rockets and drones. Tehran earlier that day targeted residential buildings in Beersheba with rockets, injuring several people.

Additional Insights:

Based on existing reports, there is no confirmation that schools in Israel were hit during the recent Iranian rocket attacks. The strikes primarily targeted residential areas, medical facilities, and other locations, but schools are not mentioned as affected sites. For instance, a missile struck a residential block in Holon, causing residential buildings to sustain significant damage and wounding civilians, but the involvement of schools in these casualties remains speculative. Another series of missiles launched by Iran was successfully intercepted by Israel's defenses, with shrapnel resulting in property damage but no mention of schools being deliberately targeted or affected. Therefore, it is crucial to emphasize that, at this time, there is no confirmation of schools being hit during the Iranian rocket attacks on Israel.
