Mirai's Box Office Revenue after Seven Days: Teja Sajja's film concludes its initial week, surpasses ₹65 crore milestone
In the world of cinema, the Telugu-language film Mirai continues to make waves, with its impressive performance both domestically and internationally. The film, starring Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, and Jayaram, has been a hit among audiences.
As of Day 7, Mirai has grossed ₹2.44 crore net in India, according to Sacnilk, bringing the total collection to ₹64.19 crore net. The film is expected to reach the ₹65 crore mark on Day 7, a testament to its growing popularity.
The film's occupancy has been steady, with an overall occupancy of 16.25% on Day 7. The morning shows saw an occupancy of 13.77%, while the afternoon shows picked up to 18.72%. In the Telugu region, Hyderabad led with 458 shows, followed by Bengaluru with 349 shows. Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Surat, Pune, and Kolkata also contributed significantly with 221, 158, 147, 93, and 69 shows respectively.
The overseas performance of Mirai has been equally impressive, earning ₹24 crore, taking the worldwide total to ₹96 crore. The film has recently crossed the ₹100 crore mark worldwide, as per the film team.
In the Hindi-speaking belt, Delhi NCR had the highest number of Mirai screenings on Day 7 with 366 shows. The film's Hindi (2D) shows stood at 5.01% during the morning and picked up to 9.25% in the afternoon. Vizag-Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Chennai also had a strong presence with 103, 84, and 42 shows respectively.
The details for the evening and night shows of both Hindi and Telugu Mirai are yet to be revealed. However, with the film's growing popularity, it is expected to witness a rise in theatre footfall over the coming weekend.
Mirai is backed by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory. The final figure for Mirai's Day 7 collection in India will be up after the night shows.
In its first six days, Mirai has earned ₹61.75 crore net in India and ₹72.70 crore gross. The film registered an overall occupancy of 7.13% among the Hindi audience on Wednesday. The details for Mirai's evening and night shows on Wednesday are also awaited.
Notably, Mirai crossed the ₹50 crore mark in India during its first weekend, further solidifying its position as a box office success. With its captivating storyline and stellar cast, Mirai continues to captivate audiences and break records.
