As a result, the film has collected ₹64.65 crore in India after seven days of release.
The film's worldwide success is also noteworthy, with 'Mirai' crossing the ₹100 crore mark. This achievement has been celebrated by industry insiders, with Karan Johar reportedly calling Teja Sajja 'the man of the moment' and praising 'Mirai' as 'magnificent'.
Manchu Manoj, who plays a significant role in the film, discussed the ending of 'Mirai' in an interview, highlighting that the nine grandhas make his character unbeatable. He compares 'Mahabir Lama' to Ravana, stating that, like Ravana, he had amrit (nectar) and could not be beaten with a single arrow from Lord Rama, requiring a war to defeat him.
