Minutes of the IA Gathering Held on July 23, 2025

The Administrative Committee of the city of Nordhorn held its mandatory summer vacation meeting on July 23, 2025. The groupme was marked by several significant decisions and discussions, including the expansion of the Stadtflur primary school and various urban planning initiatives.

The Grundschule Stadtflur is set to expand from a three-classroom school to a four-classroom school, as decided in a resolution from June 17, 2025. The school administration has been tasked with initiating further planning steps in accordance with the room program for the expanded school.

In addition to the school expansion, the committee also discussed the creation of a multi-functional stage in the school's cafeteria, as well as planning the school library to double as a differentiation room.

Urban planning was another key focus of the meeting. The topic "120. Amendment of the Land Use Plan and Bebauungsplan Nr. 91 B 'Camping Area Lohesch' - Initiation Resolutions" was initiated, and the "Bebauungsplan Nr. K 12 a 'Gewerbegebiet Klausheide / North of the B 213' - Draft Resolution" was also decided.

Transparency was also addressed during the meeting. A point on the agenda was transparency on unaccounted-for development roads, requested by the CDU/FDP group. However, the discussions and voting behavior of the committee members, as well as the results of the Administrative Committee decisions, are not publicly accessible according to the law.

Other matters discussed included the development of a structural and organizational solution for the care situation in the fifth hour, the administrative efforts for the "Construction of a stage between the market square and the city harbor", and the application of Councilor Pfundheller for the establishment of a public toilet facility in the Blank district.

The head of the administrative commission, responsible for initiating the approved project to expand the Stadtflur primary school, was not publicly specified in available sources. The committee also decided on the "Former Post Site, Departure from the Purchase Agreement" according to a resolution in the Fachausschuss.
