Minsk paralyzed by record traffic jams amid bad weather and crashes

Minsk is facing severe traffic congestion, with the city scoring 8 out of 10 on the congestion scale. Heavy delays have been reported on major routes, leaving commuters struggling to get home on time.

The worst-affected areas include Dolginovsky Tract, Vera Slutskaya Street, and Novovilenskaya Street. Kozlova Street, Kropotkin Street, Kiselyova Street, and Independence Avenue are also seeing long queues of traffic.

The gridlock follows a mix of poor weather and several accidents across the city. These conditions have slowed movement and increased travel times for drivers. No details are available on how the current situation compares to previous years. Authorities have not yet announced any measures to ease the congestion.

Drivers in Minsk should expect longer journeys as the delays continue. The combination of bad weather and road incidents has worsened the usual evening rush. Commuters are advised to plan extra time for their trips.
