Minecraft Movie Smashes Records in Austria with $313M Global Opening

The film adaptation of 'Minecraft' has made a splash in Austria, surpassing previous records and drawing large crowds. The movie, featuring prominent actors like Jack Black and Jason Momoa, has had an impressive opening weekend.

In just three days, 'Minecraft' has grossed $313.4 million worldwide, ranking third behind 'Na Zah 2' and 'Captain America'. In Austria, the film had the best opening of the year with 134,299 viewers, almost 10 times higher than the opening weekend of 'Snow White'. This number also surpasses the fourth installment of 'Bridget Jones' and is close to 'Paddington Bear', which currently leads the yearly ranking with 211,557 viewers.

After four days, 'Minecraft' has reached 148,415 cinema visits in Austria. Meanwhile, in the US, the film has made $162.8 million at the box office, breaking records.
