Millennium Kid Earns Breakthrough Artist of the Month Title with Over 120 Million Streams
In the dynamic world of music, a standout track has been making waves, capturing the hearts of thousands and climbing the charts. We're talking about "Maybe Maybe," the hit single by MilleniumKid, a rising star in the industry.
The resurgence of "Maybe Maybe" can be attributed to its popularity on TikTok, various remixes, and prominent festival appearances. With over 120 million streams in Germany alone, this track has become a dance floor favourite for music lovers.
MilleniumKid's collaboration with singer JBS on "Maybe Maybe" has proven to be a successful move. The duet has peaked at number six on the charts, making it MilleniumKid's second collaborative chart hit. The song is also part of MilleniumKid's debut album "Dystopia."
"Maybe Maybe" made its debut in the Top 100 in April 2024, and since then, it has achieved gold status and spent 43 weeks in the Official German Single Charts. The track explores intense emotions in relationships, resonating with listeners worldwide.
Meanwhile, the Breakthrough Artists Charts have recognised new artists making significant impact in the music industry. For September 2025, MilleniumKid has been named the Breakthrough Artist of the Month. However, US artists Ravyn Lenae ("Love Me Not") and Sombr ("Back To Friends") have also entered the Breakthrough Artists Charts.
Despite their success in the Breakthrough Artists Charts, neither Ravyn Lenae nor Sombr have collaborated with MilleniumKid or JBS. Their songs "Love Me Not" and "Back To Friends," while popular, have not yet achieved the popularity of MilleniumKid's "Maybe Maybe." Ravyn Lenae's "Love Me Not" is part of her latest album "Cruis'n," while Sombr's "Back To Friends" is part of his debut album "Nostalgia."
It's important to note that success in the Breakthrough Artists Charts does not guarantee immediate success in the Top 20 or Top 50 charts. Both Ravyn Lenae and Sombr have never previously placed in the Top 20 of the single charts or Top 50 of the album charts.
Thousands of fans continue to dance to "Maybe Maybe" and its numerous remixes at festivals, solidifying its place as a crowd favourite. The music producer who supported MilleniumKid on the song is Yasin Sert. As the music industry continues to evolve, it's clear that "Maybe Maybe" is here to stay.
