Israel authorizes the mobilization of numerous reservists in massive call-up - Military reserves in Israel are prompted for activation, with tens of thousands called up.

The ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip continues to cause significant concern, with no clear resolution in sight. The Hamas authorities claim that over 62,000 people have been killed in the region, a figure that remains unverified independently.

Israeli military operations have been intensifying since the large-scale attack launched by Hamas and its allies over two years ago. Troops are currently engaged in attacks in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Ajlin and Shujaiya, but the latest facts do not contain any new information about Al-Mawasi or specific attacks mentioned earlier.

The Israeli army has been requesting coordinates and precise timings to respond to reports from the civil defense. The army chief, Eyal Zamir, recently announced the provisional approval of the "next phase" of plans to capture Gaza, which includes a step-by-step, precise, and targeted operation in and around Gaza City.

However, the Hamas authorities have described these plans as a "blatant disregard" of the efforts of mediators to reach a ceasefire agreement. Mediators from Qatar are awaiting Israel's official response to the latest proposal for a ceasefire, which includes the release of some hostages.

Israel maintains its demand for the release of all hostages, not just a part of them. There are currently 49 Israeli hostages still held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip, all but one abducted on October 7, 2023. Intelligence suggests at least 27 of these remaining hostages are dead.

The Israeli army has been accused by the Hamas-controlled civil defense of being responsible for the deaths of at least 25 people in the Gaza Strip through its attacks and shelling. The army, however, has cast doubt on the death toll figures provided by Hamas authorities.

The Israeli army also does not distinguish between civilians and terrorists in their reporting, a claim that has been met with criticism. The Israeli Prime Minister, Netanyahu, has ordered the acceleration of timetables for the conquest of the last terrorist strongholds and the defeat of Hamas, but no specific timeframe was given.

Israel and the USA blame the Hamas for the failure of the last round of talks in July in Doha due to their repeated excessive demands. No progress has been made in the negotiations mediated by the USA, Qatar, and Egypt recently.

The Israeli army has also stated that it will investigate reports of eight people killed by Israeli fire near a humanitarian aid distribution center in the center of the coastal region. The new phase of combat will involve operations in areas where troops have not been deployed before.

As the conflict continues, both sides remain entrenched in their positions, with no end in sight. The international community continues to call for a peaceful resolution to the conflict, but the situation on the ground remains volatile.
