Military musicians to play at yacht club during Fourth of July celebration
On August 15, 2025, the Boat Club in Prayagraj will play host to a special Independence Day Military Band concert. This event, organised by the Indian Army's Purva Uttar Pradesh & Madhya Pradesh Sub Area, will begin at 4 pm and is free and open to the public.
The concert will feature performances by military bands from the Dogra Regimental Centre and the Jammu & Kashmir Rifles Regimental Centre. The programme promises a mix of patriotic songs and martial tunes, showcasing the Indian Army's discipline, tradition, and dedication.
The Boat Club, situated near the Sangam where the Ganga and Yamuna rivers converge, provides a scenic and culturally significant backdrop for the concert, adding grandeur to the festivities.
This concert is part of the broader Independence Day celebrations in Prayagraj, distinct from other military band events such as the Air Force Band concert at Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad Park. It is intended as a celebration of the nation's spirit, offering the public a chance to enjoy the Army's musical talent and foster a connection between the armed forces and citizens.
So, mark your calendars and join in the celebration of India's 79th Independence Day at the Boat Club in Prayagraj. Let the patriotic tunes and martial rhythms resonate through the city, strengthening the bond between the Army and the people.
