P-3C CUP+ Aircraft Aids Rural Firefighting Efforts in Portugal
The P-3C CUP+ aircraft, a multi-engine platform equipped with advanced systems, is playing a crucial role in supporting rural firefighting efforts in Portugal. The detected fires were immediately reported to the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC).
A source from the military institution confirmed that the P-3C CUP+ is being used in support of the FAP's efforts. The aircraft joins other assets the FAP has for territory surveillance and firefighting, such as drones and helicopters.
