Militant from NSCN faction perishes in gunfight in Arunachal Pradesh
In a significant development, a combing operation launched by security forces to intercept fleeing insurgents in the Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh resulted in a fierce encounter on July 6-7, 2025. The security forces are currently conducting a search operation in the area to apprehend the remaining insurgents. This latest encounter follows similar clashes earlier in the year that led to the deaths of multiple NSCN-KYA cadres in the same region.
