Miley Cyrus Unveils 'Something Beautiful' Deluxe Edition Collaboration with Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, and David Byrne
In an exciting turn of events, pop sensation Miley Cyrus has released a deluxe edition of her ninth album, "Something Beautiful," on Friday. The album, which initially dropped in May, has now been expanded with two new songs and a star-studded lineup of collaborators.
The highlight of the deluxe edition is the live debut of Miley Cyrus and Beyoncé's Grammy-winning duet "II Most Wanted," which made a special appearance on Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter" tour.
One of the new tracks, "Secrets," was previously teased by Billy Ray Cyrus in August. This song, written by Miley Cyrus as a birthday gift for her father, features the musicians from Fleetwood Mac, including Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood, and was produced by Omer Fedi, Michael Pollack, and Ryan Tedder.
Billy Ray Cyrus shared a snippet of "Secrets" on social media in August, and Miley Cyrus recently previewed the full song on her platforms.
The other new track, "Lockdown," features David Byrne.
To coincide with the album's release, Miley Cyrus staged intimate shows at Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont and Maxim's de Paris. The album was accompanied by a film directed by Cyrus, Brendan Walter, and Jacob Bixenman, which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in June and later released in theaters for one night only.
Kid Harpoon, Michael Pollack, Maxx Morando, Shawn Everett, and others contributed to "Something Beautiful."
Upon release, "Something Beautiful" debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.
With its deluxe edition, Miley Cyrus continues to showcase her versatility and collaboration skills, promising a musical journey that is as captivating as ever.
