During an interview on The Interview podcast, Miley, 32, humorously admitted, "I was the odd one out, who doesn't normally mind, but the Met Gala... it's an interesting situation where everything that makes you comfortable is stripped away."
However, Miley shrugged it off, stating she's always comfortable in such situations. Dressed to impress in a custom leather crop top and floor-length skirt by Alaïa, she was a sight to behold, complete with Cartier jewellery.
Although she felt the invitation-only event could do with assigning a familiar face as a plus one for stylistes, Miley enjoyed making at least one new acquaintance - the suave Jon Batiste.
Remembering their conversation fondly, Miley shared, "The first thing he asked me was, 'What's your favorite key to sing in?' A question no one's ever posed before. He guessed it'd be a G or a C but thought F might be my limit. Right away, I knew he was a keeper!"
It turned out he was spot on - her preferred keys are indeed, G and C.
Interestingly, Miley also happened to cross paths with her former flame, Patrick Schwarzenegger, whom she dated briefly in 2015. But details about their encounter remain uncertain.
Despite these minor hiccups, Miley's return to the Met Gala after a six-year absence was memorable, as she continued to make waves in the fashion and entertainment world, leading up to the release of her soon-to-be-released album "Something Beautiful."
