Milan Lucic’s short-lived St. Louis Blues stint ends after PTO expires

Veteran forward Milan Lucic’s tenure with the St. Louis Blues concluded. The 37-year-old was on a professional tryout (PTO) contract, which ended in late November 2025. His departure followed a brief AHL stint after recovering from injury.

Lucic initially joined the Blues on a PTO ahead of the 2025 training camp. He appeared in four preseason games, tallying a goal and an assist before a lower-body injury sidelined him. He returned to play but remained unsigned as of late November 2025. No official announcement has been made regarding his next team or potential retirement. The Blues’ decision marked the end of his short-term involvement with the franchise.
