In the heart of the Sverdlovsk region, Yekaterinburg played host to the annual Sports Day celebration. This year's event, held as part of the Day of Physical Culture, featured a variety of athletic competitions and festive activities, promoting physical fitness and community engagement.

The marathon, a highlight of the day, attracted participants from all walks of life. Dinar Khusnullin, a marathon participant, shared his positive impressions, despite not being fully prepared. The women's marathon was won by Anna Tangova from Moscow, who completed the race in 02:53:24, while Ivan Gorlanov from Yekaterinburg was the first to cross the finish line for the men, with a time of 2:18:12. Stanislav Dmitriyev from Yekaterinburg won the "Yekaterinburg Versta" with a time of 18 minutes and 17 seconds.

The traditional 3x3 basketball tournament "Orange Ball" was held at the "Yekaterinburg Arena." In the women's competitions, "Xcityplay" won in the adult category (19 years and above). In the men's final, "400 kg" triumphed against "Morning."

The under-14 youth competition was won by the "Bessy" team, while the team relay race was won by the "UGPX-UMPC-AZJBI-Kharitonov Team." Notable athletes like Olympic champion Irina Zilber and Olga Kotlyarova were part of the parade.

The parade, which started near the House of Sevastyanov and ended at the Drama Theater, saw over 800 representatives of the regional sports industry marching in unison. The starting and finishing point for all participants was October Square.

A cultural program, including performances by "Laskovy May" and NASTIKA, was held on Oktyabrskaya Square, adding a vibrant and festive atmosphere to the day's events.
