Michelle's partner, Eric Philippi, disputes allegations of their split

Hangin' out in the studio, that's where Eric Philippi's been lately. But when whispers started flyin' about a breakup with his longtime colleague Michelle, he needed to clear the air. And here's what he's got to say.

Everyone knows the deal between Schlager singer Michelle and her pal Eric Philippi for quite a while now. They've faced their fair share of haters, with some spotlight on their age gap - she's 53, he's 28. Critics like Markus Krampe had a field day, callin' Philippi a manipulator and Michelle easy to charm.

But this power couple has remained resilient, weathering the storm and even announcin' their engagement last summer. Lately, though, it seems like a storm might be brewin' as split rumors have been swirlin' around.

"Give us love"

Eric hopped on Instagram to put the rumors to rest, tellin' fans they're still strong as ever. He's been workin' hard in the studio, steppin' away from social media and the drama, but his peace was shattered when his phones refused to stop ringin'. So, he spilled the beans.

"It's all good between us, we're still in love, still supportin' each other," Eric said. "Just because we don't flaunt our lives 24/7 on social media don't mean we've split or there's something wrong."

A public declaration on Silbereisen's show

The couple made their relationship official on Florian Silbereisen's show last year. Eric said he'd been feelin' the love for Michelle since the beginning, and they'd been keepin' it a secret for a while.

Breakin' the mold in Schlager

Eric made a splash in the Schlager scene with his debut album "Crazy for Love" in 2021. Michelle, on the other hand, has been in the biz for a while, even representin' Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2001. She's got three daughters from three different fellas. Her eldest, Marie Reim, from her relationship with Matthias Reim, is also a Schlager singer and's currently on the RTL show "Trust No One!"

As for Eric and Michelle, it seems like they're hearin' each other's sweet music just fine.
