In an exciting turn of events, Jaafar Jackson, Michael Jackson's nephew, will be making his acting debut as the iconic pop star in the upcoming biopic titled "Michael." Directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan, the movie promises to deliver an insightful and honest portrayal of Michael Jackson's life.

The film is set to hit the global theatrical screens on April 24, 2026, after a series of release date changes. Initially announced for April 18, 2025, and then October 3, 2025, the release was eventually moved to 2026.

The cast for "Michael" is impressive, with Colman Domingo portraying Joe Jackson, Michael Jackson's father, and Nia Long as Katherine Jackson, his mother. Miles Teller will take on the role of attorney John Branca, while Kat Graham will play Diana Ross.

The younger version of Jermaine Jackson, Marlon Jackson, Tito Jackson, and Jackie Jackson will be played by Jayden Harville and Jamal R. Henderson, Jaylen Lyndon Hunter and Tre Horton, Judah Edwards and Rhyan Hill, and Nathaniel Logan McIntyre and Joseph David-Jones, respectively.
