MGM+ Reveals 'Spartacus: House of Ashur' Release Date
MGM+ has revealed the release date for 'Spartacus: House of Ashur', the latest chapter in the popular gladiator series. The show, an erotic, history-bending drama, is set to premiere in December 2025. Nick E. Tarabay returns as Ashur, now a powerful gladiator school owner navigating the treacherous world of Roman politics with the help of Achillia, a fierce gladiatrix.
The series is produced by Lionsgate Television for STARZ, with Steven S. DeKnight serving as showrunner and executive producer, joined by Rick Jacobson and Aaron Helbing. It builds upon the original 'Spartacus' series, which are available to stream on MGM+. The main cast includes Graham McTavish, Tenika Davis, and Jordi Webber alongside Tarabay.
The first two episodes of 'Spartacus: House of Ashur' will debut on December 6, 2025, with subsequent episodes released weekly. The series will stream exclusively on MGM+ in the UK, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, and Belgium.
