Mexico City security team rescues opossum from upscale neighborhood garden
Mexico City's Banking and Industrial Police recently responded to an unusual call for assistance. Officers were summoned to a property in Álvaro Obregón's San Ángel Inn neighborhood, where an opossum had taken up residence in the garden.
Property staff reached out to their assigned security personnel for help in removing the uninvited marsupial. Upon arrival, the security team, whose specific personnel details remain undisclosed, swiftly captured the opossum and secured it in a pet carrier.
The incident, while local in nature, highlights the diverse range of situations that security personnel may encounter. After safely containing the opossum, the officers handed it over to Civil Protection staff. The opossum was then examined and later released into a safe area.
