Mexican tycoon secures billions in Pemex contracts amid debt concerns
Juan Carlos Guerrero Rojas, a business tycoon with stakes in multiple firms, is now a key shareholder in Petroservicios Integrales México. The company holds two major contracts with Pemex worth over 4.1 billion pesos. Recent records show he also co-owns the firm with Héctor Peralta Grappin since late 2024.
Petroservicios Integrales México was established in January 2004, with Guerrero Rojas becoming a shareholder by 2020. The company secured its first Pemex contract in November 2019, providing well intervention services for 1.998 billion pesos until December 2024.
A second contract, signed in November 2023, was awarded directly and is valued at 2.119 billion pesos, excluding VAT. This agreement runs until December 2026. As of March 2025, Pemex still owed the firm 563 million pesos (around $31.5 million USD).
Beyond this company, Guerrero Rojas is connected to at least 18 businesses across real estate, oil, and gasoline sectors. His network includes Inmobiliaria de la Chontalpa Grupo Rogue, Graro Inmobiliaria, and Oil Industry Logistics. He also has ties to Grupo Energético de la Chontalpa, Servicios Chocogas, and Mexicana: Smart Solutions for the Petroleum Industry. No links to sectors outside oil and gas have been identified in available records.
Guerrero Rojas remains a prominent figure in Mexico's energy and real estate industries. His involvement in Petroservicios Integrales México and its ongoing Pemex contracts highlights his influence in the sector. The company's outstanding debts and future contracts will likely keep it under scrutiny.
