Upcoming August weather: Meteorological prediction for the end of summer 2025's final month

Meteorological predictions for the last month of summer 2025 suggest that August could be particularly favorable, according to weather experts.

Meteorologist Evgeny Tishkovets from the "Phobos" weather centre has predicted heavy and persistent rainfall for August 2025 in Russia, particularly affecting Central Russia and the Russian Plain. This prediction follows a significant amount of precipitation in Moscow, with about 25% of the city's monthly rainfall falling in one day and up to 84% already recorded in the Moscow region, indicating a trend towards very wet conditions.

The forecast suggests that August 2025 will likely be unusually rainy across Central Russia and the Russian Plain, potentially leading to flooding or other rainfall-related impacts. Tishkovets warns that the month will also continue the trend of higher than average temperatures in these regions.

The summer of 2025 has already seen an increase in humidity levels in Russia by 14%. Although June was relatively cool, the summer as a whole was 0.8 degrees warmer than usual in Russia. In July, the weather station at VDNH in Moscow recorded a 2-degree excess of the average temperature compared to the climatic norm. Daytime temperatures in August are expected to fluctuate between +20 and +25 degrees, while nighttime temperatures will range from +10 to +15 degrees.

Data analysis shows an anomalous stability in temperature processes and precipitation patterns, aligning with the statistical trend of recent years for Moscow and Central Russia. The precipitation forecast for August indicates a slight excess of the norm, by about 10%.

In other news, Sberbank Online users will face a new rule starting August 1st. The exact nature of this innovation has yet to be disclosed.

Meanwhile, the summer of 2025 has seen some unusual weather events. In July, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, and Krasnoyarsk experienced their hottest month in the last 30 years. However, Evgeny Tishkovets assures that the end of summer will pass without sudden temperature spikes or extreme weather events.

In a separate report, Roskachestvo named the 5 best laundry detergents. Unfortunately, reports of unappetizing food, rude staff, and exorbitant prices have been made at a popular resort.

Lastly, four zodiac signs will have their path to wealth and fortune opened starting August 1st. As the summer of 2025 comes to a close, it's clear that changes are afoot in Russia.

The meteorological forecast for August 2025, as predicted by Tishkovets, suggests an unusual increase in rainfall across Central Russia and the Russian Plain, with potential impacts such as flooding. This seemingly aligns with the trend of higher than average temperatures, as the month is expected to continue the warmer-than-usual pattern observed so far in 2025.
