Rock legends Iron Maiden have announced that they will be performing in Hanover, Germany in 2026, marking a significant milestone in their 50-year career. The concert, part of their world tour titled "Run For Your Lives", is set to take place at the Heinz von Heiden Arena on June 2nd.
The "Run For Your Lives" tour, which kicks off on May 23rd in Athens, Greece, will visit numerous countries across the globe. The tour will make stops in Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Italy, France, and Portugal, among others.
Iron Maiden's German performance in Hanover will be their only stadium show in the country for the coming year. The band has already played in Germany this year, starting in the Arena in Gelsenkirchen.
The tour has been a resounding success, with almost every show selling out and over a million fans attending. Rod Smallwood, the band's manager, stated that they will visit as many fans as possible in 2026 before the band takes a tour break in 2027.
Steve Harris, the band founder and leader, expressed his excitement about the tour, stating that the fans are fantastic, the setlist is perfect for their 50th anniversary, the show is probably their best ever, and the demand for tickets has been incredible.
The band has undergone a few changes in recent years, with the newest member being drummer Simon Dawson. The only remaining member from the early years of Iron Maiden is founder Steve Harris.
Following the Germany performance in Hanover, the tour will continue, with a few more shows in Europe planned before heading to other parts of the world later in the year.
Iron Maiden fans in France will have the opportunity to catch the band live on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the Paris La Défense Arena, and on June 28, 2026, at the Groupama Stadium in Lyon-Décines.
