Rock legends Judas Priest teamed up with Ozzy Osbourne for a 'War Pigs' duet prior to his passing, and the collaboration is expected shortly.

Metal icons Judas Priest collaborated with Ozzy Osbourne on a rendition of Black Sabbath's 'War Pigs' before his demise, and the release of this highly anticipated duet is imminent.

In a surprising collaboration, heavy metal icons Judas Priest have recorded an official cover of Black Sabbath's iconic song 'War Pigs', featuring the legendary Ozzy Osbourne. The news was revealed on the Full Metal Jackie podcast.

Before Ozzy Osbourne's unfortunate passing on July 22, the collaboration was already in the works. Rob Halford, the lead vocalist of Judas Priest, shared that the 'green button's almost ready to go' for the release.

Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy's wife and manager, approached Judas Priest with the idea of featuring Ozzy on the cover. Halford believes that fans will find the collaboration 'a really special place'.

In the recording, Ozzy sings a line, followed by Halford, and the process repeats, creating a unique experience. Halford described the collaboration as 'colossal'.

Ozzy's death certificate listed his cause of death as a heart attack, with coronary heart disease and Parkinson's mentioned as contributing factors. Despite his passing, the rights to publish the duet of Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne's cover of Black Sabbath's 'War Pigs' have not been announced yet.

Ozzy was laid to rest at a private ceremony in Buckinghamshire, attended by Elton John, members of Metallica, and others. His occupation on the death certificate was listed as 'Songwriter, Performer, and Rock Legend'.

Rob Halford expressed his grief over Ozzy's death, stating he 'still can't believe it now'. The release date for the cover with Ozzy singing on the track is yet to be announced.

This is not the first time Judas Priest has paid homage to Black Sabbath. They performed a cover of 'War Pigs' before Ozzy Osbourne's final-ever show. The collaboration serves as a fitting tribute to the legendary singer and a testament to the enduring spirit of metal music.
