Meta, Amazon, and PayPal Poised to Outperform the Stock Market in 2026

Three major tech companies—Meta Platforms, Amazon, and PayPal—could outperform the stock market in 2026, according to a recent analysis. While all three struggled to match broader gains in 2025, their business fundamentals suggest a potential rebound is on the horizon.

PayPal’s stock has been trading at a low valuation, with shares priced at less than 10 times forward earnings. The company’s global payments exposure positions it as a possible turnaround candidate. However, it lagged behind the S&P 500, which climbed 16.4% over the past year.

Amazon faced similar challenges, underperforming due to its high valuation heading into 2025. Despite this, its core business remains robust, and analysts believe it could regain momentum next year.

Meta Platforms also fell short of market expectations after announcing plans to increase data centre spending in 2026. The heavy investment weighed on investor sentiment, though the company’s long-term growth prospects remain intact.

The analysis highlights potential upside for all three firms in 2026. PayPal’s low stock price, Amazon’s business strength, and Meta’s expansion plans could drive better performance. However, actual results will depend on market conditions and company execution.
