📣 Exciting news for racing enthusiasts! Sky Racing World has recently struck a groundbreaking deal with the Arena Racing Company, significantly expanding their international horse race portfolio. This game-changing agreement will intertwine wagering pools in the US with those in the UK, offering US players direct access to UK wagering pools for the first time.

Thanks to Advance-Deposit Wagering (ADW), this new partnership allows for US fans to dive into the thrilling world of UK wagering pools. Conversely, UK bettors will now have the opportunity to bet on greyhound races across the pond. September's hot spots, including Newcastle, Perry Barr, Sunderland, Nottingham, and Swindon, are all set to become popular destinations for US punters.

According to Mark Kingston, ARC's director of media technology and production, this pool-commingling will enhance "liquidity" for both UK and US wagerers and serve as a platform to showcase ARC's top-notch greyhound races to the US market. David Haslett, Sky Racing World's CEO, is equally optimistic, predicting that this union will boost wagering play, benefiting both the UK greyhound racing industry and discerning handicappers.

In a recent period, Sky Racing World's portfolio has experienced accelerated growth. In addition to integrating Australian greyhound racing into the UK, they also combined US and Argentinian wagering pools back in January 2022.

Looking to amp up the prize money, Arena Racing Company (ARC) introduced two new bonus schemes in June. These incentives aimed to address lingering concerns regarding prize money in lower-class races. The first bonus scheme offers a £5,500, £5,000, and £4,000 winner's bonus for Class 4, 5, and 6 races, respectively, with these minimum first prizes being granted regardless of race type, age, or surface.

ARC also unveiled a £1 million bonus pot for trainers, owners, jockeys, and racing staff during the All-Weather Championships season. Horses that finish in the top 5 in all-weather races at participating racecourses will earn points towards "Horse of the Month" and "Horse of the Year" awards, with substantial cash prizes on offer. Monthly rewards in February, March, and April will be worth a hefty £40,000.

Mark Spincer, ARC's MD, anticipates that these new bonus schemes will stir up healthy competition, particularly the £1 million bonus. He further believes that the bonus will escalate competition during the winter, and in doing so, ramp up the excitement.
