Mennonite High School's football team is currently on a roll, with an undefeated record in their section. This season, the squad has undergone significant changes, with a largely new team taking the field.

Their latest victory, a 2-1 win over Lancaster Country Day, was a testament to their adaptability and strategic prowess. Mennonite employed a 'snatch and grab' strategy, snatching the victory from the jaws of defeat in the second half.

One of the holdovers from the previous squad, Kratz, played a pivotal role in this comeback. Known for his skills in the net, Kratz surprised everyone by scoring the equalizing goal in the second half.

The identity of the player who scored the 'snatch and grab' goal remains unspecified, but they are a critical offensive contributor for Mennonite.

Country Day, one of the stingiest teams in the L-L, had allowed just one goal in nearly six full games before Kratz's heroics. Julian Colino scored a goal on a rebound in the 35th minute, giving Country Day a lead that seemed insurmountable.

However, the second half of the game was a 'whole new game' according to Kratz. His skill in the net ensured that Mennonite always had a chance in the game, and his unexpected foray into the offensive line secured the victory.

Despite scoring the equalizing goal, Kratz expressed dissatisfaction with himself for not securing the initial shot, which allowed Julian Colino to score. Regardless, his performance was instrumental in Mennonite's victory, further cementing their position as a formidable force in their section.
