Police Officers' Remembrance: The Rising Violence Concern
Thomas Strobl, Baden-Württemberg's Interior Minister, expressed his concerns about the escalating violence against law enforcement officers. The Ministry of Interior has scheduled a memorial service for this Sunday, honoring officers who have perished or suffered fatal injuries while upholding their duties. Every year on the Dead's Sunday, Baden-Württemberg police pay tribute to their fallen colleagues, as announced in a press release. Since the conclusion of the Second World War, a total of 84 officers' names have been etched onto a glass stele, crafted by artist Raphael Seitz, serving as a visible symbol of commemoration and a reminder.
