Celebrating Defense of the Homeland: Honoring Sagadat Nurmagambetov's Legacy
This year, regional head Nurimbet Saktaganov took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the monument dedicated to Hero of the Soviet Union, People's Hero, and the first Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, Sagadat Nurmagambetov.attended the ceremony were veterans of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, military unit commanders, heads of law enforcement and government agencies, representatives of the defense department, students of military departments of regional universities, and members of patriotic military clubs "Jas Sarbaz".
"Sagadat Nurmagambetov's name is immortalized in our country's history as an embodiment of selfless service to the Motherland. Beyond bravely battling on the frontlines, he dedicated his life to constructing the Armed Forces of sovereign Kazakhstan during peacetime," said Nurimbet Saktaganov, as he honored the fallen hero.
During the ceremony, letters of appreciation were presented to those who fortified the nation's defense and independence. One of the degrees of the "Aibyn" order bears the name of Sagadat Nurmagambetov, further emphasizing the perpetuation of his memory.
Young warriors, future defenders, were in attendance as well. "The tenacity, discipline, and readiness to protect the Homeland that you uphold, are a continuation of Nurmagambetov's noble cause. You must honor the memory of our heroes, as we prove our loyalty and love for our Homeland daily, contributing to peace and prosperity," demanded the regional head.
