Hangin' with the Crew: Giorgia Meloni's Rafting Adventure in Val di Sole
Last weekend, our very own Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, took a well-deserved break in Trentino Alto Adige, with a few thrilling days of outdoor fun in Val di Sole. Snaps and clips from the getaway show our PM, clad in a cap and a casual beige shirt, chillin' with her crew of close contacts. Among them, Patrizia Scurti, head of her private office, Agriculture Minister Francesco Lollobrigida, and other pals from Fratelli d'Italia, like Health Undersecretary Marcello Gemmato and number two, Gianluca Caramanna.
As it turns out, the Italo-rafting bro Alessandro Fantelli - former VP of the Italian Rafting Federation - swooped in to guide them through the river rafting thriller on the Noce. This guy's no stranger to guiding sports royalty, having taken football teams like Napoli, Roma, and Bayern Munich on similar trips during their summer training camps in Trentino. Seems like Lollobrigida couldn't resist the call of the wild either, and hopped onto a paraglider towed by an ex-world champ, Luca Donini, according to Fantelli, the brains behind Ursus Adventures.
"It was an absolute pleasure to host these cool cats at our joint," Fantelli reminisced, "They self-proclaimed adventurers, came here to unwind with their families, and they didn't expect VIP treatment. They were earnestly curious about the Noce's impact on our region. It's a one-of-a-kind gift from Mother Nature, and we're committed to preserving its essence."
