Mel Gibson's Hunting Season Hits Blu-ray This April 2026
Leonine Studios has announced the home entertainment release of Hunting Season, the latest action thriller starring Mel Gibson. The Blu-ray will arrive on April 10, 2026, with pre-orders already open for fans eager to own the film.
Hunting Season follows Bowdrie, a father played by Gibson, as he fights to protect himself and his daughter, Tag (Sofia Hublitz), from a dangerous drug lord named Alejandro (Jordi Mollà). Directed by RJ Collins and written by Adam Hampton, the film also features Shelley Hennig, A.J. Buckley, and Scarlet Rose Stallone in key roles.
The Blu-ray will be presented in 1080p resolution with AVC encoding, ensuring high-quality visuals. Audio options include both German and English tracks in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. As a bonus, the release will contain a featurette, confirmed in an update on February 3.
