Mel B, erstwhile Spice Girl, is set to wed within the hallowed walls of St. Paul's Cathedral.
Melanie Brown, popularly known as "Scary Spice" from the iconic Spice Girls, exchanged vows with her partner Rory McPhee at London's historic St. Paul's Cathedral on July 5, 2025. The lavish celebration was expected, as reported by the tabloid newspaper "Daily Mirror."
For the ceremony, Mel B donned a stunning white beaded gown by Josephine Scott, paired with a veil. She later changed into a gown by Justin Alexander for the reception. Rory McPhee opted for a traditional Scottish attire, wearing a kilt. The bride's three children served as her bridesmaids.
The star-studded event was attended by numerous celebrities, including Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Cara Delevingne, Daisy Lowe, and Katherine Ryan. While it is uncertain if Victoria Beckham attended, she did extend her congratulations to the newlyweds.
Following the ceremony at St. Paul's Cathedral, the reception was held at the Shangri-La The Shard in London, located in the city's tallest building. The party, reportedly, took place at a restaurant within the building.
This is Mel B's third marriage, having been previously married to dancer Jimmy Gulzar and producer Stephen Belafonte. Mel B and Rory McPhee have been together since 2018 and got engaged in 2022.
Photos of Mel B's arrival at the cathedral, accompanied by her partner Jade Jones and her son Beau, as well as Emma Bunton in a pink dress with a matching headpiece, are available.
St. Paul's Cathedral, the central church of the City of London, has been the venue for many significant events, including the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana in 1981. It was a fitting choice for Mel B's nuptials, adding an air of grandeur to the already momentous occasion.
Other celebrities from the world of pop-culture and entertainment joined Melanie Brown, aka Scary Spice, at her wedding reception held at the Shangri-La The Shard in London. Katherine Ryan, Cara Delevingne, Daisy Lowe, and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) were among the attendees, making it a star-studded event.
