Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation into suspected arson and property damage in the area.
The first incident involved a paper recycling container set alight on Henneberger Straße. Unknown offenders caused an estimated €1,000 in damage before firefighters extinguished the la fire. Authorities have classified the act as arson-related criminal damage.
All six emergencies were contained without major complications. Firefighters managed to resolve each situation promptly, ensuring no further hazards developed. Police from PI Schmalkalden-Meiningen are now appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information about the incidents is urged to call +49 3693 591-0, quoting reference 0000085/2026.
