Everyone's jaw dropped when Megyn Kelly, the bold host of The Megyn Kelly Show, admitted on The Stephen A. Smith Show this week she's fallen for President Donald Trump, despite his past barbs.
The topic of Trump's treatment of Kelly during the 2015 Republican debate came up, with Smith reminding her of Trump's colorful comments about her. But, Kelly had a surprising response.
'He wasn't my favorite back in 2015,' she admitted. 'I mean, those nine months were pretty rough.'
But despite the friction, Kelly managed to separate her personal feelings from her professional responsibilities as a journalist.
'It wasn't easy, but I had to put my personal feelings aside and focus on the facts. That's my job, after all,' she said.
What made Kelly change her mind, though? 'Well, let's just say that Trump's policies struck a chord with me. I saw him as someone who wasn't afraid to tackle the tough issues and make a difference,' she shared.
