She Visits Children in Hospital in L.A. - Meghan Markle uplifts young patients at LA Children's Hospital visit

The Duchess of Sussex recently visited Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) to support its Make March Matter fundraising campaign. During her time there, she painted watercolours with young patients and met children too unwell to leave their rooms.

The hospital, founded in 1901, has a long history of providing medical care, research, and innovation for seriously ill and injured children.

Meghan spent time in the hospital's Creative Oasis, where she joined young patients in painting watercolours. She also visited those confined to their rooms, ensuring they felt included in the activities. CHLA later praised her dedication to supporting its mission.

This visit follows her earlier involvement with the hospital, including a Literally Healing session in 2024. The Make March Matter campaign helps fund CHLA's work in delivering high-quality care, research, and medical advancements.

Next month, Meghan and Prince Harry will travel to Australia for private, business, and philanthropic engagements. Their trip, from April 17 to 19, marks their first joint visit to the country in over seven years. While there, Meghan will take part in the Her Best Life podcast's 'Girls' Weekend' event. Their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will not accompany them on this occasion.

The visit to CHLA highlights Meghan's ongoing support for children's healthcare initiatives. Her upcoming trip to Australia will include both public and private commitments, continuing her and Prince Harry's philanthropic efforts. The couple's last joint visit to the country took place more than seven years ago.
