Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Extend Partnership with Netflix

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have signed a new multi-year "first look" deal with Netflix through their company, Archewell Productions, to continue producing film and television projects. This new agreement extends their creative partnership beyond their initial 2020 deal.

According to the announcement, Netflix will have the first opportunity to consider their upcoming projects across various genres, including documentaries, scripted series, films, sports, and lifestyle programming. The deal includes a second season and holiday special of With Love, Meghan, a drama titled Meet Me at the Lake, and a documentary titled Masaka Kids: A Rhythm Within.

Archewell Productions has a history of successful Netflix content, having produced notable releases such as Polo, With Love, Meghan, Heart of Invictus, Harry & Meghan, and Live to Lead since their partnership began. Among these, the Harry & Meghan docuseries (2022) chronicling their journey from their relationship's start to stepping back from royal duties, became the platform’s most popular docuseries ever, with 23.4 million views.

Meghan emphasized their intention to expand their work to include the As Ever brand alongside Archewell Productions, aiming to create thoughtful content resonating globally and aligned with their shared vision.

While specific upcoming projects under the new deal have not yet been detailed publicly, the extension signals that Harry and Meghan will continue developing diverse content aligned with their existing focus areas—social impact, storytelling, and lifestyle themes—through Netflix.

The announcement was met with positive comments from royal commentator Jennie Bond, who stated that Meghan Markle has "won" and her critics must "eat humble pie." The deal includes a holiday special about Christmas, further cementing the couple's commitment to creating engaging and meaningful content for Netflix audiences.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's forthcoming projects, such as the second season and holiday special of With Love, Meghan, the drama Meet Me at the Lake, and a documentary titled Masaka Kids: A Rhythm Within, are expected to delve into various genres, including entertainment, lifestyle, and news. Their creative partnership with Netflix, which has yielded successful productions like Harry & Meghan, is set to produce more thought-provoking content that reflects their focus on social impact and resonates globally.
